Great West Financial is looking for an energetic experienced Telecommunications Engineer. This position will be located in our Greenwood Village, CO location. Role will work in a team environment supporting the Telecommunications infrastructure. This position will provide telecommunications support for a large home office campus environment, as well as multiple remote offices in the U.S. and India, including several contact centers.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Performing MAC’s in an Avaya Aura CM 6.x environment, including all programming and physical changes. Responsible for backups of all telecom related equipment.
  • Support Avaya System Manager and Session Manager.
  • Support Avaya Aura Messaging system, including MAC’s and backups.
  • Perform Contact Center programming including agent programming, vector & vdn programming.
  • Support & run complex reports on an Avaya CMS system, familiarity with CMS Supervisor.
  • Support Avaya Call Recording, including ACRs and Standbys, as well as CRS Bridge.
  • Support Avaya Application Enablement Servers (AES).
  • Support Avaya OneX softphone applications (OneX Communicator, OneX Agent, OneX Attendant).
  • Support Verint WFM (Blue Pumpkin).
  • Support Avaya SAL.
  • Support CTI (Avaya CTI adapter for SalesForce.com).
  • Support Avaya Experience Portal (EP) IVR system.
  • Support WebEx, Cisco TelePresence and other collaboration systems.
  • Utilizes demonstrated knowledge of VoIP and troubleshooting VoIP issues over a Cisco network.
  • Utilizes demonstrated knowledge of SIP, LD and LEC circuits, T1’s, and DS3’s, as well as call routing and reporting for SIP, LD & LEC services.
  • Position will manage small projects and office relocations.
  • Position is in an “on call” rotation for support (approx 1 week per month). Some evening and weekend work will be required.
  • Some travel required.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 4 years previous experience in a Telecommunications technical support role required.
  • Minimum 2 years previous Avaya training and experience, specifically with CM6.x required.
  • Demonstrated experience with Avaya VoIP technologies, Avaya ACDs, as well as CMS v.16 or above required.
  • Demonstrated experience with SYMON SDAs and readerboards, Avaya Call Recording and Verint WFM a plus.
  • Utilizes demonstrated knowledge of VoIP and troubleshooting VoIP issues over a Cisco network required.
  • Utilizes demonstrated knowledge of SIP, LD and LEC circuits, T1’s, and DS3’s, as well as call routing and reporting for LD & LEC services required.
  • Demonstrated experience with WebEx and Cisco TelePresence collaboration tools and systems. Knowledge of other collaboration tools a plus.
  • Knowledge of cloud-based telephony (Avaya or other) a plus.  
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills. Demonstrated ability to re-prioritize and multi-task effectively in a fast paced environment required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate successfully across the organization at all levels.
  • Proven outstanding customer service skills required.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project) and Visio.
  • Some travel required.
  • Position is in an “on call” rotation for support (approx 1 week per month). Some evening and weekend work will be required.
  • Bachelor Degree (Computer Science, Information Systems or related), or equivalent applicable experience required.
