The purpose of the Analyst Investment Sales is to contribute to awareness and sales of Great-West Investments by analyzing, maintaining and reporting on the sales pipeline and ensuring Sales Directors are well-prepared for client meetings.   The Analyst Investment Sales will be FINRA 6 and 63 licensed and will have the opportunity to field inbound advisor and internal calls.

Primary Responsibilities


  • Develop, maintain and report on the sales pipeline, including data mining for additional prospects.
  • Provide investment information, competitive data, positioning points, pricing and other support as needed to the internal partners specifically the Empower Sales Desk.
  • Coordinate development of annual strategic business plan with Investment Sales team.
  • Actively contribute to team calls.
  • Maintain advisor information in CiRRUS.
  • Fulfill inbound sales inquiries, and literature and service requests from GWI Investment Sales team and Empower Sales Desk.
  • Update marketing materials and ensure compliance protocols are adhered to.
  • Maintains a high level of advisor outbound calling activity by following up on advisor leads and deliverables derived from GWI Investment Sales team and empower Sales Desk.
  • Special projects and/or provide support to Large/Mega and Government Sales Directors as needed.


  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Finance, Marketing or Business, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of internal or external wholesaling experience in the financial services industry.
  • Proven sales and presentation skills.
  • FINRA Series 6 and 63 registrations required within 90 days of hire/transfer.
  • Exceptional organization skills, attention to detail and time management skills.
  • Ability to anticipate Sales Directors’ and client s’ needs.
  • Courtesy and composure and collaborative working style.
