Position Highlights

This position is responsible for personalizing and relaying accurate plan specific information to participants in every written transaction.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Provides written responses to participant emails, website chat requests, and/or requests for custom letters.
  • Comply with company policies regarding written correspondence and privacy protection.
  • Maintain quality standards with regard to grammar format and content. Meet productivity standards with regard to output of written correspondence.
  • Assist new associates in their transition into the department by sharing knowledge and answering questions.
  • Assist other areas within the department when the demand arises and workload permits.
  • Using established procedures and working under moderate supervision, performs assigned tasks.
  • Develops working relationships with peers, management, and other teams and departments.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree or an equivalent work experience.

 

Registrations / Certifications / Licensing Required:

  • FINRA Series 6 and 63 licenses required within GWRS established timelines

 

Other Preferred Qualifications::

  • Without a degree, 2 years of experience working with customers.
  • Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, internal record keeping system, Internet Explorer and SR system experience preferred.
  • Experience managing multiple priorities.
  • Experience working with people in a service environment.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Solid writing skills with a strong understanding of sentence structure and grammar rules

 

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:

Professional office environment and regular use of general office equipment such as computers and phones. 

While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to type, reach with hands and arms, sit for long periods of time, read and write, listen, verbally communicate, respond to questions, collect/track data, problem solve, concentrate, follow direction.
