Position Highlights

Responsible for the management and editing of product agreements,

contract renewals, NDA's and other legal documents related to selling

and servicing partners.  This includes tracking, reporting, reviewing,

processing and ensuring each business partner has the required

credentials and paperwork in order to sell Great-West Financial and

EMPOWER products and get paid commissions.

 

Primary Responsibilities

- Responsible for the management of product agreements, renewals, NDA's and other legal documents as required while working efficiently to support contractual needs of multiple departments.

 

- Responsible for the editing of product agreements as instructed by potential new partners, contract renewal processing, NDA’s and other legal documents as required, with limited supervision.

 

-Address business needs and act as an effective liaison between legal counsel, compliance and business partners to address issues as they relate to contracts.

 

-Analyzing and assist in the negotiation of complex concepts in agreements: data privacy; intellectual property ownership; compensation; etc.

 

-Point of contact for external business partners during contracting process including CEOs, principals, legal teams, compliance teams, and sales executives that include client interfacing conference calls and written communication.

 

- Perform initial due diligence review using established guidelines through regulatory agencies for business partners looking to execute new product agreements and collaborate with compliance.

 

-Responds to inquiries regarding specific questions related to existing agreements, work jointly with team members to ensure cross training on all processes within the department, while maintaining and updating documents and resources for contract center.

 

 -Works with management and systems on changes to licensing systems, which includes requirements for changes and testing.  

Qualifications

Education: Bachelors Degree in Business, Finance or related field or

equivalent work experience.

 

Other Preferred Qualifications:

Minimum two (2) years of compliance/contracts experience or equivalent

work experience in related field. Demonstrated ability to work both

independently and within a collaborative team environment. Exercises

Judgment within defined procedures and ability to determine appropriate

Action. Excellent customer service skills. Intermediate skill level MS

Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint Knows when escalation is required.
