Under direct supervision, responsible for the successful installation and transfer assets for clients resulting from Corporate Actions for Core market segment clients, acting as a liaison with our Empower Institutional Partner(s) and internal departments. Point of contact with Plan Sponsors, Brokers and Third Party Administrators.

 

Primary Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the successful installation and asset transfers for clients undergoing Corporte Actions in the Core market.
  • Perform conference calls on assigned sales and consults with variousclient contacts including FASCore Partner(s), plan sponsors, brokers, third party administrators, relationship/account managers, prior providers and various internal departments with respect to products and features of standard plans.
  • Review plan provisions with plans electing internal compliance services to ensure accurate restatement of retirement plan documents
  • Facilitate the transfer of plan assets and records though written and verbal communication with prior providers, client contacts and various internal departments.
  • Maintain established FASCore Partner deadlines and timelines associated with transfer and start-up plan activity.
  • Produce quality work on assigned sales through various quality assurance measures
  • Follow established procedures designed to minimize market risks and gain/loss situations
  • Coordinate transition of assigned sales to Internal Compliance and/or Plan Services teams upon installation completion
  • Other duties and projects as assigned

 

Qualifications

  • Associates Degree, preferably in Business, Finance or a related field or equivalent related experience.
  • A minimum of 2-3 years of experience working with 401(k), 403(b) and 457 plans
  • In depth knowledge of ERISA, DOL and applicable IRS regulations related to retirement plans
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and problem-solve effectively
  • Attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • FINRA Series 6 license supported, but not required
  • QKA/QPA or APA Certifications preferred, but not required
