Position Highlights

Role serves as a strong, hands-on technology leader on the Salesforce team.  Responsible to help shape our next generation application platform.   Primary focus is on integration of the Marketing Cloud to the Sales Cloud to bring visibility of campaign results to our sales and service teams.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Utilize Salesforce Marketing Cloud to create journeys using Journey Builder and sync data from Salesforce CRM to Marketing Cloud and back.
  • Develop and document efficiencies in current and future processes.
  • Enable the business teams to create campaign member lists and support marketing with campaign templates
  • Manage third party lead sources, (Firm Lists, 3rd party vendors) within Salesforce. Ensure that these lead sources aren’t just uploaded but that this data is leveraged to refresh Salesforce  (ensuring data integrity).
  • Implement and support sales email campaigns directly from Salesforce Sales/Service cloud
  • Work with IT and marketing to update campaign preference center within Salesforce for business areas
  • Provide suggestions for marketing automation processes and campaign management
  • Provide technical subject matter expertise and marketing cloud data management
  • Provide support to corporate marketing team and business

Qualifications

  • 6-8+ years of Salesforce Sales Cloud experience with 3-5 years of experience on Salesforce Marketing Cloud
  • Experience with and understanding of Journeys/Journey Builder
  • Understands lead conversion and management process
  • Experience creating and running Marketing/Campaign reporting and metrics
  • Repeatable experience designing and creating the underlying data structure and data flows to support Cloud implementation
  • Familiarity with loading millions of rows into data extensions, either via FTP or API
  • Understanding of Apex/VisualForce Development.
  • Experience integrating Sales Cloud with Marketing Cloud.
  • Excellent knowledge of Salesforce APIs and hands-on experience integration with ERP
  • Active administration of one or more Salesforce Clouds
  • Understands data modeling, and data migration using Salesforce APIs to/from an existing data warehouse.
  • Understands and can implement connections between Marketing Cloud and Sales Cloud using Salesforce Connector.
  • Well-versed in JavaScript, JSON, HTML, and Salesforce APEX
  • Repeatable experience developing applications on the com Platform. Expert level Visualforce, APEX, and SOQL knowledge
  • Repeatable experience working with SOAP and REST-based APIs
  • BS in Computer Science, or equivalent combination of education/experience.
  • Graduate degree is a plus.
  • Strong experience with Microservice or other distributed architectures using Java and Spring.
  • Experience with cloud solutions and migrations, preferably AWS.
  • Strong understanding of application security standards and practices.
  • Knowledge and experience in configuring Salesforce Sales and Marketing Cloud.

 

SKILLS

  • Salesforce Marketing cloud consultant certification
  • Experience with Salesforce Knowledge and Communities is nice to have.
  • WAVE Analytics experience
  • Advanced Admin Certification
  • Sales Cloud Consultant, Service Cloud Consultant a plus
  • Salesforce Developer Certification a plus
