The Operational Readiness and Communications Consultant is a key role for operational readiness and communication across all record keeping services teams. In partnership with project teams, coordinate communication to impacted stakeholders to ensure awareness and readiness for change before implementation including technology and process. This role will partner with teams to document and maintain roadmaps to be distributed across record keeping services teams to help them better understand specifics around impacts to their functions.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Partner with project teams to ensure analysis is completed regarding impact to job duties and functions across Recordkeeping Services as a result of projects, fixes, rollouts, or process improvement initiatives
  • Inventory and map out activities to anticipate change and ensure impacted teams and Subject Matter Experts are involved in appropriate stages of projects
  • Own and deliver a robust and comprehensive communication plan for enterprise-wide changes that impact Recordkeeping Services; in partnership with Product, Technology, and Project Teams develop and deliver communications utilizing proper channels to ensure messages are being delivered to the right audience at the right time in a consistent and engaging format
  • Enhance communications utilizing change management methodologies including stakeholder engagement, impact analysis, and assessment of business readiness to support ongoing product and operational enhancements to the RKS platform.
  • Ensure business readiness by identifying potential people-side risks, points of resistance, performance gaps, training needs and ensuring corrective action plans are implemented
  • Solicit feedback from Managers across RKS on communication methods and implement changes for continual improvement
  • Partner with Technology to produce and deliver timely release notes before each systems release to prepare teams for changes
  • Other duties as assigned


  • College degree preferred or minimum of 4 years related work experience.
  • Minimum of four year related work experience in Financial Services
  • A focus on strategy, operational processes, and customer experience
  • Logical, clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to adjust approaches based on audience and situation.
  • Strong presentation skills to engage audience.
  • Ability to create compelling case for change.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and manage effective cross-functional relationships.
  • Work effectively with leaders at all levels (people manages, mid-level managers, senior managers).
  • Intermediate-to-advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Manage multiple/competing priorities.
  • Proactively prioritize work to meet internal commitments and maintain momentum on numerous simultaneous projects.
  • Critical thinking for complex challenges with ambiguity.
