    The Customer Acquisition Marketing Manager – RSG develops integrated marketing campaigns that generate leads and increase sales effectiveness for the Retirement Solutions Group (RSG). This role requires skills in campaign management, email & digital marketing, marketing automation, and project management to seamlessly and accurately deliver materials which ultimately result in more leads and higher sales.

    Primary Responsibilities

    • Oversees analysis and evolution of current lead generation activities and helps design new ones.
    • Develops and executes B2C marketing campaigns that deliver high-quality leads in support of RSG’s roll-in and rollover business objectives.
    • Leverages data-driven marketing automation platforms to optimize targeting, messaging, and results of marketing campaigns
    • Tracks, analyzes, and shares campaign results with internal stakeholders
    • Creates high-quality content that best positions the RSG story to multiple audiences, including retirement plan participants, sponsors, advisors and internal business partners.
    • Works closely with the agency to create Empower-branded collateral and campaigns.
    • Becomes a subject matter expert on the RSG offering and is able to interface with clients, intermediaries and internal teams.
    • Guides content through the approval pipeline (compliance, legal, etc.).
    • Applies best practices and innovation in all materials and collateral.
    • Establishes trusted and positive working relationships with marketing team and internal stakeholders.
    • Excels at delivering service and consultative input to achieve goals.
    • Complies with FINRA and other regulatory requirements in content, disclosures and delivery methods.
    • Provides fair, candid and constructive feedback when appropriate.
    • Understands regulatory requirements and timeframes and stays abreast of changes or updates.
    • Supports team members, volunteers to help; shows initiative and positively impacts team dynamics and morale.

    Qualifications

    What You Bring to the Role

    • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, Journalism, Communications or relevant field or equivalent combination of five years of work and experience.
    • 5 or more years’ experience developing B2C marketing campaigns that generate leads to sales teams, with a proven track record of success – including through email, digital content & social media
    • Expertise in campaign development, segmentation, personalization, A/B and multivariate testing, and lead nurture. 
    • Experience using marketing automation platforms for campaign implementation, testing, optimization and integration with sales CRM tools
    • An understanding of how to modify messaging for multi-channel delivery (print, email, online, etc.)
    • Computer literacy required. Working knowledge of PC environment and high competency in Microsoft Office Suite and aptitude to quickly learn other systems/software.
    • Handles data and spreadsheets with ease, speed, accuracy and precision.
    • Analytical – can systematically gather relevant information, interprets various types of data and applies logic to solving problems. Can effectively analyze data to support decision making.
    • Adaptable to a fluid work environment and spikes in workload.
    • Strong partnership skills with an ability to work collaboratively within a team and develop solid working partnerships with peers and colleagues.
    • Project management and organizational skills required. Attention to detail and accuracy a must.
    • Follows process and procedure and makes recommendations on improvements to close gaps, shorten turn times or improve outcomes.
    • Ability to handle confidential information in a sensitive manner.
    • Self-directed – Can operate with little direction and successfully achieves goals and objectives while in an autonomous environment.
    • Demonstrated leadership skills and ambition.
    • Must reside in Denver, Kansas City, or Boston area.
    • Occasional travel possible.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Knowledge of financial industry, mutual funds industry, retirement plans or IRAs
    • Additional education, training or work experience in a relevant field such as marketing, sales, investor relations, or finance
    • Financial services certifications
