    As a competent technical team member participate in team-based efforts surrounding development, deployment and support of solutions in response to business needs. Build, deploy and troubleshoot custom software solutions in response to business needs. As a back-end developer you will be involved in all stages of the project lifecycle from requirements, development, implementation and support rotation in production environments. Good hands-on experience and working independently, with guidance in only on the most complex situations. Communicate and coordinate with cross-teams including off-shore.

    Primary Responsibilities

    • Under the guidance and direction of team lead to implement, unit test and maintain/support high performance front-end web application and robust back-end RESTful APIs using AngularJS and ASP.NET WebAPI.
    • Operate efficiently and effectively within the team-specific SDLC lifecycle and process, in-alignment with broader departmental or divisional lifecycle and process.
    • Participate efficiently and effectively in Quality Assurance methodologies and solutions in support of business needs.
    • Participate in on-call rotation.
    • Respond to and resolve medium complexity issues.
    • Provide technical support and guidance directly to end users.
    • Train and mentor less experienced staff.
    • Act as a liaison between business areas supported and development team.
    • Perform system and application testing, ensuring delivery meets business needs.
    • Prepare appropriate documentation from which systems and solutions are supported and maintained.
    • Writing dynamic behavior object-oriented codes(OOP) and actively participates in the design, development, and review of the code base.

    Qualifications

    1. Minimum 3 years of commercial web development experience with ASP.NET Web API 5+, Entity Framework 6, AngularJS 1.6 Component or Angular, Bootstrap 3 and jQuery libraries.
    2. 3+ year development experience with C#, LINQ, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES5 or ES6) languages.
    3. 3+ year commercial development experience with web technologies such as HTTP, Web APIs, REST and JSON.
    4. Strong understanding of S.O.L.I.D. principles, design patterns, best practices, dependency injection, containers, and Responsive Design.
    5. 3+ years development experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2012 or 2016 T-SQL , Stored Procedure, SSIS, and SSRS.
    6. Experience with unit tests, mocking, source version control and continuous integration system TFS, and agile software development life cycle.

     

    Preferred:

    • An ability to keep work well organized, follow project standards and conventions, collaborate with other team members effectively, and work independently with minimal supervision.
    • Must be local to New York City
