  • Position Highlights

    Working independently under consultative direction, identifies, develops, and implements key product development initiatives.  In addition, this position will be responsible for the financial impact of products and pricing within assigned market(s).

    Primary Responsibilities

    • Works with the senior leadership within assigned market(s) to identify key product initiatives.  Specific initiatives may include but are not limited to:
      • Nonqualified Plans
      • Defined Benefit Plans
      • Equity Compensation Partnership
      • Total Rewards Partnership
      • TRSFlex (Seamless integration of outside benefit plans)
    • Leads priorities for enhancements for a short and long term roadmap that aligns with business goals. Creates cross functional team to ensure broad alignment with direction and evaluate alternatives, consider priorities, client impacts.
    • Define and lead scope of product development by:
      • Streamlining the product development process to ensure thorough and accurate completion of initiatives, both internally and externally.
      • Ensuring Operational readiness and launch plan.
      • Creates client facing positioning and communication, and facilitates client facing experience.
      • Works with Go-to-Market team for market introduction to include RFP language, sales collateral, product guide revisions.
    • Works with various home office areas, including directing any staff allocated from the products area, to develop and implement the solution for the key strategic initiatives identified above. Works with the operational and development teams to align vision for strategy or functionality.
    • Works with Product segment leaders to drive pricing for all market segments with a strong understanding of the competitive marketplace and industry trends Drives end to end product capabilities and experience.
    • Agile leader and liaison between development team and business, working to ensure:
    • That there is a clear voice of the organization to the development team.
    • That there is a clear understanding of what features are needed in the product or application.
    • Epics and features of the product or application are clearly defined.
    • Features of the application are effectively prioritized, based on commitment, organization needs and roadmap timing

    Qualifications

    What We Require of You:

    • Bachelors Degree in Business or related area, or equivalent experience
    • Ideal candidates will possess 7-10 years relevant work experience in financial services industry working within assigned market(s)
    • FINRA fingerprinting required

    What We Hope You Have in Addition to the Experience Above:

    • Experience managing projects preferred
    • Strong communication and organizational skills are necessary
    • FINRA 6 registration permitted, but not required
      • Corporate-established timelines apply to permitted registrations
