    Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Sales and Service Effectiveness in the Core Market, the Sales Effectiveness Manager is a home office-based member of the Empower Core Team who partners with Core sales and service leaders, to identify and develop sales skills and resources for Regional Sales Directors, Internal Sales Directors and RM team within the Empower Core Markets.  The position will engage our sales and service associates with the available sales story and collateral, and occasionally attend sales finals presentations across the country.

                                                                       

     

    Primary Responsibilities

    • Identify and train / explain the information / story / collateral produced by Marketing to our associates
    • Partner with the leadership to identify the needs of the sales and service teams.
    • Partners with internal and external client facing associates to develop sales opportunities through the creation of and delivery of request for proposals in a digital first environment.
    • As Subject Matter Expert, partners with leaders and trainers to ensure training and understanding of necessary skills and technology (classes, utilizing resources, monitoring, mentoring, coaching, gathering feedback) for associates on the Empower story and value proposition
    • In partnership with leadership and training, encourages and promotes effective sales behavior and strategies, including evaluating the use of available resources in promoting the sale of Empower products
    • Encourage and evaluate use of tools and resources (Seismic, etc.) used by client facing teams to in cultivate existing broker/advisor relationships, develop new business leads, deliver proposals
    • Project Management and expertise working on the participant and plan sponsor experience including new product launches, surveys, etc…
    • Subject matter expert for Core sales and service associates in WAVE, Salesforce and Allego and other platforms
    • Works closely with management to motivate staff and promote the Empower sales culture and company values

     

    Qualifications

    • Business, Marketing or Communications Degree preferred or relevant years of experience.
    • FINRA Series 6, 63 licenses & other industry specific registrations/licenses required within GWRS established timelines.
    • 5+ years of Defined Contribution Industry experience
    • 5-10 years of experience in marketing and or the financial services industry preferred.
    • Strong communication skills, proven presentation skills.
    • Experience using at least one of the following technology platforms: WAVE, Seismic and Allego.

    Experience with project management and managing multiple projects simultaneously
