  • Position Highlights

    Under general supervision this position will answer incoming telephone inquiries regarding various retirement products.  The phone representative may receive calls regarding variable and fixed annuity products from customers, advisors, partners and other related individuals.

    Primary Responsibilities

    1.) Answer and respond appropriately to general operational and procedural inquiries from current annuity account holders. Demonstrate resourcefulness to deliver accurate product and industry information.  Develop, maintain and foster positive/enhanced working relationships with customers.


    2.) Initiate proactive/follow-up phone calls on pending issues to ensure a timely and satisfactory completion. Effectively diagnose client issues while demonstrating appropriate insight and judgment to identify and explore exception processing possibility.  Demonstrate knowledge of product and company transaction requirements.


    3.) Conducts research of history events in a participant account to address concerns or issues.


    4.) Other duties as assigned which may involve some or all of the following: staff meetings, product seminars/training, meeting all federal and state requirements as they pertain to securities and insurance regulations etc., in support of strategic department and firm initiatives.


    • Associate’s Degree in Business or related field

    Registrations / Certifications / Licensing Required:

    • FINRA Series 6 and 63 licenses required within the GWRS established timelines

    Other Preferred Qualifications:
    • At least 1-2 years of Financial Services Background required

    • Basic Microsoft Office knowledge
    • Excellent communication and organizational skills
    • Ability to quickly learn a variety of unfamiliar subjects
