  • Position Highlights

    Summary:  Responsible for providing customer service (phone, email and written) and administrative support to insured members. Includes providing information to callers on their personal coverage features and application status, processing applications using internal workflow software and preparing, mailing and recording title changes, beneficiary changes, collateral assignments, certificates and billing notices.

    Primary Responsibilities

    • Assist callers in resolving problems, updating records and answering questions about their coverage and its related administration.
    • Review applications to ensure completeness and mainframe system for applicant eligibility based on plan provisions. Enters applicant and coverage details onto system to create/update client information screen. Updates tracking database.
    • Assembles appropriate billing packets for mailing. Reviews certificate validation page for accuracy and mails appropriate letter.
    • Direct applicant communication on complex troubleshooting and advanced customer service issue resolution.
    • Other duties as assigned.


    • High school diploma.
    • Must have a minimum of 3 years of high level customer service experience.
    • Strong phone-based customer service skills.
    • Good verbal and written communication skills.
    • Moderate MS Excel, Word and Outlook skills.
    • Good Internet navigation capabilities.
