  • Position Highlights

    You will be responsible for creating and launching a not for profit experience focused on the unique needs of higher education, healthcare and other nonprofit retirement plan sponsors and employees. You will interact with associates and leaders across the organization, including the executive leadership team, as well as external partners and other not for profit providers to develop a compelling and differentiated experience.  Your efforts will have the ability to be seen by millions of people.

    Primary Responsibilities

    • Represent Empower at speaking engagements and assess industry trends for future product offerings. 
    • Ability to analyze and leverage the following to optimize product offerings:
      • Market intelligence
      • Competitive analysis
      • Customer research/feedback
      • Data analytics   
    • Lead cross-functional teams to prioritize product development, creationand management
    • Define and lead product scope and requirements, securing subject matter experts, and overseeing implications to expenses and revenue, marketing, positioning, etc.
    • Create and manage journey maps to visualize the not for profit experience from beginning to end.
    • Develop go to market plan, including marketing, positioning and training materials.
    • Collaborate with key business partners and initiatives to ensure go to market readiness. 
    • Drive growth and efficiency through:
    • Monitoring and adjusting product offerings
    • Positively contribute to the overall profitability of Empower

    Qualifications

    What We Require of You:

    • Bachelor’s Degree required in related discipline
    • Advanced understanding of higher education, healthcare and other not for profit organizations required, and the
    • Proven ability to influence internal and external clients and partners.
    • 7-10 years of relevant work experience.
    • Previous experience with all mediums of communications, specifically digital.
    • Strong communication skills and superlative presentation skills.
    • Organizational savvy and the ability to successfully collaborate with all levels of management and staff.
    • FINRA 6 registration permitted, but not required. Corporate-established timelines apply to permitted registrations.
    • FINRA fingerprinting.

    What We Hope You Have in Addition to the Experience Above:

    • While direct marketing experience is not required, ideal candidates will be a seasoned marketer and manager of projects and products.   
    • Product management experience preferred.
