    The Manager Fees & Billing provides leadership to the back office operations related to fees and billing. Manages daily activities and assists with more complex issues. Prepares reporting for Senior Management. Coordinates responses to various audit requests. Ensures that internal controls are functioning properly in accordance with generally accepted auditing standards and that procedures are properly maintained.

    Primary Responsibilities

    • Oversees the fee set up, third party payments, automated billing, quality control, etc. of retirement plan fees. Reviews reconciliations to ensure accuracy of fee set up, which impacts fee disclosure and automated revenue sharing done on the record keeping system. Prepares reporting to identify trends, make corrections, initiate training, and update of capacity model.
    • Monitors the workflow, planning, scheduling, and work assignments. Makes hiring and salary recommendations, develops and/or approves training procedures, coordinates training, conducts performance evaluations and manages staff issues according to company and divisional policies. Monitors quality standards of the team and individuals.
    • Acts as the liaison to internal client/partner facing departments on efficiencies, resolutions, etc.
    • Ensures that all fees accounting entries are recorded accurately. Responsible for working with financial reporting on any manual accruals required.
    • Coordinates responses to all internal, external, ICOFR, SOC1, and client audits. Participates in testing and planning for business continuity events.
    • Other duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    • Bachelors Degree in Business, Finance, or similar field
    • Four years supervisory experience
    • Intermediate MS Office skills
    • Intermediate EASY and SAP skills
    • Strong management, organizational, analytical/problem solving, written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to prioritize projects and work independently
    • FINRA Series 6 and 26 is permitted but not required.
