  • Position Highlights

    Responsible for relationship management and proactive education to core IRA customers within an assigned book.  Engages in effective consultative conversations via outbound calls. Primary goals of education are retention and expansion of IRA customer's relationship with Great-West. Also handles incoming IRA customer calls. Acting in a dual registration capacity for GWFS Brokerage and Advised Assets Group.

     

    Primary Responsibilities

    • Make proactive outbound calls to provide education to IRA and taxable account customers within an assigned book. Outbound call categories include: relationship calls to existing IRA customers, welcome calls to new customers, and product/service introductions and sales (ie managed accounts, income generating products). When appropriate and in the clients’ best interest, maximize the use of Empower products and services, including Empower Retirement Advisory Services, offered by Advised Assets Group (AAG). (50%)
    • Manage inbound customer inquiries and provide quality education. Understand, assess, and meet customer needs/requests. Manage book of business (using SalesForce CRM) to expand current relationships and foster new relationships (i.e., household). (40%)
    • Administrative duties: Document calls using technological tools such as SalesForce. Use organizational skills to track core IRA customer needs. Participate in training sessions and staff meetings, share new knowledge with teammates. (10%)

    Qualifications

     

    • Bachelor’s Degree
    • FINRA Series 7, 63, and 65 as well as applicable insurance licenses required within GWRS established timelines
    • Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor designation within corporate established timelines
    • Minimum of 3 years financial services experience including advice/guidance, managed accounts and income products
    • Proven sales and relationship building skills
    • Comprehensive PC skills including the ability to quickly learn Empower Retirement’s record keeping system, SalesForce software, and Netx360
    • Demonstrated organizational skills; strong written, verbal, and presentation skills
    • Solid practical understanding of Great West/Empower’s policies and procedures as well as Great-West/Empower product offerings preferred
