    The Associate Internal Sales Director (AISD) is a critical member of the Core Sales Team.  The AISD will achieve proper licensing, successfully pass the AISD training program, and prepare for becoming a proficient Internal Sales Director while assisting Internal Wholesaler Department to meet or exceed sales goals through processing paperwork, ensuring excellence in data management & communicating between internal departments. #LI-MV1

     

    Primary Responsibilities

    Indicators of Success:

     

    Passing of Series 6 & 63 in reasonable timeframe, proficiency in consultative selling, data analysis, ownership of tasks & teaming with individuals in the department

    • Strong Financial Experience & Background: Illustrateunderstanding of financial industry & ability to learn key facts aboutEmpower products.
    • Results Based Competitor: The drive and resilience to be a capitalistic with all constituent [advisors, TPA, plan sponsors]interactions to generate new leads, gain referrals & close the business.
    • Consultative Sales Skills: Active listening with intuition torephrase to ensure message was heard correctly in order to providesecondary, open-ended questions; and deliver a clear, convincingprofessional presentation.
    • Methodical & Strategic Planning: Ability to provide structure inschedule to prioritize relationships to gain the most value from each interaction.
    • Resourcefulness: Inquisitive and investigative nature tounderstand in’s and out’s of subject to gain credibility quickly with new constituents.
    • Organizational & Disciplined Execution: Structured approach toapplying planning to daily activities to ensure consistent, cohesivefollow-through of issue resolution; allowing for a proactive approach torelationship-building and lead generation.

     

    Primary Accountabilities:

    • Provides exceptional data analysis and project supportwithout close supervision
    • Processes paperwork & supports department in following up onplan information to ensure plan seamlessly transitions from sales toimplementation
    • Willingness to use superior consultative selling skills on 1-800* line to provide an exceptional experience
    • Training to improve understanding of consultative selling, product & industry knowledge

     

    Qualifications

    Business Degree preferred or relevant years of experience 1 year of related work experience in a sales/customer service environment, preferably in financial service industry.

     

    FINRA Series 6, and 63 licenses & other industry specific registrations/licenses required within GWRS established timelines.
