  • Position Highlights

    The Specialist’s primary responsibility is ensuring AAG’s Managed Account service is available & functioning, properly and consistently, on a daily basis for all clients:  plans, partners & participants.

     

    The position provides service excellence in delivery of the program. The Specialist gathers information and provides analysis to support AAG Product, AAG Segment Managers, AAG Oversight, vendors and internal partners; supports action plans for rollouts and client specific projects.

     

    The Specialist resolves service operational issues, supports audits and contributes to product, system and process improvements.

    Primary Responsibilities

    • Serves as the AAG daily contact for operational support of the services and delivery of services for all business channels
    • Performs operational service issue mitigation from management to research, escalation and final resolution
    • Performs exception mitigation via managing, researching, monitoring and reporting
    • Provides Enterprise Client Team support for day-to-day service inquiries
    • Develops, maintains & distributes reporting: Usage, Staff Plan, PRISM
    • Process Workflow items: processing, researching, reporting, reconciling and field support as required
    • Support: Vendors, Internal AAG, Empower, FASCore, systems
    • Performs fulfillment support : mail, letters, invoicing, billing and mass mailings
    • Support Implementation and testing of new product offerings
    • Perform testing of new system functionality, validate data accuracy and performance results when needed
    • Identifies and executes on the resolutions to questions/issues and exception requests regarding Advisory Services
    • Manages advisory services operational queues
    • Maintains and takes steps to improve operational quality
    • Collaborate with other members of cross functional teams within AAG and other departments, to support operational duties, processes and training
    • Other duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    • 4 year degree or equivalent work experience
    • 3-5 years operations experience, in an investment advisory/financial services capacity preferred, with focus on research and analysis
    • Strong cross-organizational interpersonal and collaboration skills
    • Working knowledge of EASy recordkeeping system. One year of hands-on experience preferred
    • Excellent analytical skills
    • Microsoft Office experience: Excel, Word
    • Great attention to detail

    • Knowledge competency: Broad experience in financial services operations
    • Analytical competency: Investigates recurring operational issues requiring data or situational analysis and application of prior experience for problem resolution
    • Communication competency: Provides solutions to operational issues through effective coordination with and support of department; offering data analysis, interpretation and recommendations
    • Ability to work on multiple assignments with dynamic deadlines
